#FridayFotoFiction : Past Present
PAST PRESENT
The luminous sky powdered with tufts of grey, candy-floss clouds hover over the ancient mansion. The mansion and it’s picturesque surroundings are now a tourist spot. Visitors here take idyllic boat rides and lovers serenade each other, in the verdant gardens. Some come to listen to the undying tale of love that came to a tragic end; amidst tears and gore, over a hundred years ago.
Every evening, a figure sits on the railing by the lake, watching the lovers with melancholic eyes, as their laughter peals across the mansion.
Julian refuses to rest in peace, haunted by his past.

That was very atmospheric. You have set the scene up perfectly, Natasha. Thanks for linking up with #WordSante.
What a haunting tale! I loved the image created by ‘candy-floss clouds’. The story complements the prompt so well. You truly are an eloquent storyteller
Whoa!!! What a twist at the end!! You have beautifully brought out emotions with some power packed words, Natasha! Brilliant.
Thanks for always being so generous with your words Rohan. 🙂
