A Night of Nostalgic Nebula: #WriteTribeProblogger #WriteBravely #FridayFictioneers

Saturday, 5:46 A.M.: I haven’t slept a wink. The receding moon is gaping at me blankly.

Well, it was a decadent night of drinking and dancing, on the River Mandovi.

A night that also brought back memories from the yesteryears: of Rahul and I. When we had chatted on the same deck; till the wee hours of the morning, trying to drown our attraction in pints of beer. But, with no success.

Last night Rahul arrived with a vixen wrapped around his arms. We had exchanged awkward glances, but he seemed too much into her.

Sigh! Some things are never meant to be.

  1. Few lines say a lot. I am happy she made a peace with it, anyways I don’t like guys with the name Rahul… 😛

  2. He so doesn’t deserve her ‘sigh’! Though I know it can take a while to get over love, when one is intensely affected. I hope she finds the man of her dreams at the end of it all.
Beautifully written, Natasha. Loved the story.❤️
