Once In a While We Need To Get Away: #MicroblogMondays #MondayMusings #MondayBlogs

Once in a while we need to get away…

Once in a while we need to get away, from the rigmaroles of our every day routines, the busyness of our fast paced lives, from the mundane chores that we engage in. And from the spaces we have been living in.

Once in a while we need to get away to a place where technology is far removed, network services and wi-fi don’t work. To a place where time simply stands by.

Once in a while we need to get away to feast our eyes on a star-spangled sky, far from the blinding city lights, to come together in a perfect communion with Mother Nature. To watch her inhabitants up close and personal and learn from them, as they continue to abide by the laws of the jungle and listen to their body clocks.

Once in a while we need to unclog those creative juices and allow them freedom to flow. To reconnect with our origins and our dear ones. To reflect and look within, to nurture our inner child and to value this precious life.

Once in a while we need to get away to become whole, complete and one.

  1. Wow Natasha, that was simple yet beautifully put. All that you mentioned brought a lovely view to me. I miss travel, but I wish I could travel a lot this year. To break free from my ever busy mind and get a breath of fresh air. You look pretty

  2. I cannot emphasize the need to cut off and move out of daily mundane, exhausting routine to a place where one feels in touch with one’s inner self, feels loved. For me, that place is my parents’ and brother’s, a place where I can genuinely laugh to my heart’s content and feel in tune with myself.

  3. Oh yes! Once in a while, we so need to get away to places where there is no network connection, no wifi, nothing that will remind us of the technology that controls our life everyday!
