A Night to Remember: #FridayFictioneers

The night was ripe. Smoke freely mingled with teen spirit.

“Let’s drive to the terraces, and watch the sunrise,” suggested Tony.

“Who the heck wants to watch sunrises, when we can spend the night grabbing a few more beers!” retorted Liz.

“Liz don’t be a spoilt sport,” grimaced Marissa.

“Come Marissa, we’ll go,” said Tony.

Tony revved up the engine.

This was his golden opportunity to impress Marissa. It was mostly falling apart with Liz.

The car flew into space, suspended in time; against Mr. Randy’s porch.

“Love the unknown,” someone whispered.

Back to  Friday Fictioneers, after 7 months! How much I have missed writing fiction and being part of this prompt hosted by the lovely Rochelle Wisoff – Fields. Much thanks to Liz Young for this week’s photo prompt.

  1. Now this is something I expect to see in the movies, not real life! I hope everyone got out okay with just some scratches or something. OUCH! Sometimes men can really act like children wanting to show off! SHEESH! Well, there ya go just another flight to ??? and OUCHES!!! Hope you’re doing well my friend. Take care because I care!

  2. Natasha,

As Dirty Harry said, “A man’s gotta know his limitations.” I’m sure that’s what this young fella learned from this unpleasant experience. Great write-up! Feel free to add your link to my WildWednesdays “where just about anything goes” linky party! Have a funtastic week, my dear!

    1. Fortunately no one was. 🙂 I had planned to make this witty, but there was a sudden twist in the tale. Will reserve the wit for another day.

      Thanks for reading, Ken.

  3. Not exactly the ending I was expecting! Great to see you back here again Natasha.

Btw, nice to see Froggie hopped over to your place! For a link, when you add it to the post you click the paperclip symbol and insert the URL just as you do when applying it to a word.

    1. Yes, feels good to churn out fiction. I have been meaning to, since February/March.

What I love about #FF is that it’s short, crisp and barely takes any time to put together.

Will do so next time with Froggy, Thanks, Keith.

    1. Dear Rochelle,

Wonder what she had in mind, or Tony for that matter.
When I started writing this I had humour in mind. Little did I know there would be a twist in time and tale.

In my head they crashed into that wall, leaving a not so appealing mural in Mr. Randy’s home. And they did come out of it alive. 🙂

      Love and light.

    1. Yes, that’s the thing. When I started writing this story I had a dash of humour in mind, but the words took their own course.

If you look closely there probably still is.
