I really wish I could write a more optimistic post, and not start the first line by ranting. But such is life at times. Eight Things I’m Grateful for in Jaunty July July was pretty much uneventful, most parts of it; so I am assuming. But possibly I’m being partly judgemental. Judging my jaunty July without really considering the details-not a good idea! If I look deep into the recesses of the month, there was actually some interesting action and a chunk load of things to be grateful for. The month began on an unfettered note and continued to flow like an unbridled river.
A quarter of a brand new year is over; almost. Yet, it seemed the shortest month of the year, was the longest. Simple ironies of life, you see. February reared its wicked head at me in more ways than one. But instead of bludgeoning it with the defeatist question, “Why me?” I looked it straight in the eye and said, “Try me!”
Yet again!!!! A prompt that gives me thirty minutes to write what’s top of my mind, well that’s no complex feat, I suppose. I’ve been seeing innumerable gratitude prompts and posts off late. And my inner child has been prodding me to put together one such post. After all, I haven’t written one in a while. There’s so much to be thankful for each day, and to start my day with gratitude, a smile on my face, and a spring on my feet is the sure shot winning mantra to a happy, positive, rewarding day. Like most people, I’m blessed to have so much. If I were to start counting my blessings the list would be endless.
