The Actor: #MicroMondays

The party was swinging. Toasts were being raised and glasses clinked. Doff had won an Oscar.

Written as part of #MicroMondays, hosted by the gorgeous couple, Varad of Loose End Of The Thread and Namratha of Namy Says So.

Each week we are given a set word count for a piece of micro fiction, and a quote from a book (this time, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy) that must be included in the story. This week’s quote to be included was ‘The room folded flat around him’ and the word count was 42..

  1. Sometimes few words convey the message beautifully which a lengthy paragraph fails to do. A nice interpretation of the concept.

  2. Well worded in micromonday. I love the prompt its one of my fav phrases that i use often.
    Loved your story concept.
