Last week we were in the thriving, bio-diverse rainforests of Agumbe (in the Western Ghats of Southern India). My newly-minted 16 year-old was doing her summer internship with Kalinga foundation, at the Kalinga Centre for Rainforest Ecology (KCRE). Summer, Bummer eh?

Summer, Bummer eh?

The temperatures are sky-rocketing every single day. It’s possibly been the hottest summer of my life, and apparently of the National Capital region (New Delhi), where I live. Summers have been quite the bummer! Last weekend when we were driving back home in the afternoon, our car temperature showed 52 degree celsius. That’s a bizarre 125 degrees Fahrenheit!!!
