Welcome to Wordless Wednesday! It’s great to be back after a three-week hiatus. Esha and I hope we will have many more linkups this week now that many of you are done with the #AtoZChallenge. We took a pre-Christmas break, lazing at the dreamy Olaulim Backyards, in Goa. Olaulim Backyards is a quaint homestay, run by the warm, gracious couple; Savio and Pirkko. Savio is Goan while Pirkko originally hails from Finland. Though she has lived in Goa now for many decades. They live in the Backyards with their two lovely children, Manuel and Shameena and four adorable dogs, two stunning cats, a rescued, human donkey, Mantra and a very intelligent goat, Lilly.
I’m currently relaxing in Goa and experiencing a sense of “susegard” which in Portuguese translates to being relaxed, contented and in a state of bliss when one chills by the seaside.
This is my first solo trip, though for just a day.
