A Sky Full of Stars : #Friday Fictioneers
They are basking in the stunning glory of a sky full of stars.
Akram pours a third glass of Cabernet Sauvignon into Enya’s glass. Enya, slightly tipsy giggles, as Akram gently pushes her locks behind her ear and kisses the nape of her neck.
They first met, as gangly teenagers. Enya was a new at school and Akram was a grade senior. He took her on a school tour and what happened thereafter is history.
Fifty odd years to be precise and their love has aged gracefully, just like the wine they are sipping on.
