Sky Watch and Our Pet Babies: #WordlessWednesday #WednesdayWisdom
“Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add colour to my sunset sky”
Rabindranath Tagore
That is Thor, my 12 year-old’s newest pet. She was anxiously waiting to get a snail for a while now. She spent days building a snail habitat. And it is only when it rained day-before night that this tiny guy appeared on a morning walk. There are none to be seen yet. Maybe Thor came to be, as her solitary animal spirit guide.

bursts
into a pitter- patter danceEnchanting the mogra
into
a magical tranceThe parched gulnar
sways
to a lilting tune
The dusty haze, now
enshrines
a crystal rainbow
Glistening across
our
hypnotic horizon

I wrap up this post with a funny video of our one year-old Cocker Spaniel, Mishka who loves watching television. She is watching our favourite documentary series here, Heroes of the Wild Frontiers, of which I spoke about in my post yesterday on #MondayMusings.
Have yourselves a wonderful #WordlessWednesday amigos!
Stay safe, stay in gratitude.

Dear Natasha, the images of the clouds are spectacular, but I couldn’t watch your videos.
Have a great weekend!
Have a good one to Zina. Thank you ♥️
Beautiful skies. I’ve never heard of anyone have a pet snail. Cute idea!
Thanks Peter. It’s fun!
I just loved the gorgeous sky showing off its cloud companion. 🙂 That beautiful poem goes well with these images. <3

Beautiful skies! love the frangipani swaying in the breeze…
Love your poem that goes beautifully with your pics and the season in general, Natasha 🙂
And, snail as a pet is something new! Glad you folks are having a great time with Thor and Mishka.
We felines never knew you could have a snail as a pet. I think we need to wander through the garden and see if there’s one we can adopt.

Alberto
Beautiful photos. Cute snail. Have you ever read The Sound of a Wild Snail Eating? It is a great little memoir.
This is a fabulous post, Natasha! Cloud watching is an obsession of mine, as well and I love your pets. 😀 It’s hilarious how some dogs react to the TV. Thanks for sharing that fun video.
That is such a beautiful way to look at clouds, plants and the world, love this post!
You are always so kind with your words. Much love ♥️♥️
Those clouds are amazing, they look hand painted! Your pup sure is a cutie and how fun to watch TV. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
The sky is just superb. Rain God is being kind to us and we have been experiencing torrential rains. This also means lovely weather & brilliant sky. You have captured them very well Natasha. The whole frame looks so picturesque.
Thor is so cute, a baby right now, right? He has come especially for her (an answered prayer). I don’t remember seeing snails for a long time now ……
Mishika is sending across some message to the wild 🙂 It’s fun to watch them isn’t it and I wonder what going on in their heart & mind.
The poem brings out the essence of rain beautifully. Perfectly written!
Have a lovely week ahead Natasha
I always have trouble leaving a message for my bestest girlfriend here… Let’s try again! So, first of all what country do you live in. I looked everywhere and I can’t find it. 🙁 Bummer! Aww Miska barks at your TV like our Charlie does. Heck, our Charlie barks at fireworks & then runs and hides… big ol’ fraidy cat! hahahaha! Well, I’m sorry I’m so late my bestie, but many things went on today. I had to help my sister-in-law set up something for condolences for her sister. She passed away and we can not have a wake due to Covid. It will be this Saturday on Facebook so people can give condolences. My poor cousin is in the hospital almost 4 wks now with Covid & he’s better & wants to come home, but they’re not ready to let him yet. I feel so bad for him. He needs family… you know a familiar face and he does write on facebook at least and we can write him back. Well, I don’t want to bore you… Snail for a pet? Hmmm boys!!! I had 3 girls and 2 boys… but my boys were more into games and music. My girls the same. Oh well, sorry I’m here so late. Sending Big HUGS to you girlfriend!!! Have a wonderful day & a great weekend. See you next time. HUGS
Gorgeous skies, but not as cute as Thor!!
It’s great to see you at ‘My Corner of the World’ this week!
Loved your gorgeous skyscapes, Natasha! Nature always brings us joy in abundance through rain and shine, isn’t it? I have to say that your balcony views are out of this world!!
And by the way, the poem you shared was extraordinarily beautiful, my friend! Thor is so cute, but Mishka’s excitement looks so hard to contain. Such a darling!!!
Happy #ww and a beautiful week to you, dear Natasha.
<3
Awww! Thor is so cute! He reminds me of Gary, Sponge Bob’s pet snail that meows like a cat!
Happy Wednesday, sweetie!
Nice urban landscapes with clouds
We don’t see that kind of sky until the weather changes in late fall, early winter. We could use some rain.
A pet snail. That’s a new one on me.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday, Natasha. ♥
love your frangipani dancing in the wind
I love them too Carol. They are my favourites and I have three varieties – white, pink (with a fruity fragrance) and one which is a darkish pink with other hues )
Thank you for stopping by.
First time I heard about a pet snail. Beautiful pics.
She now has two. Got Athena last evening.
I think Thor likes to be with your 12-years-young ♥ We believe that every creature that crosses our path has a message for us, just like Thor 😀 Loved your images and quotes, Natascha. They always bring so much Peace and loved to see Mishka watching tele…maybe he likes bird-tv too 😀 Pawkisses for a wonderful Wednesday. Take it slow… 😉
Oh! binky and gran you said it. They surely do. ♥️
Mishka loves to chase birds away on our walks. But says nothing to the ones sitting on the balcony parapet!
Yes, will remember to take it slow. Thank you. We all must time to time.
Huge happiness hugs and pawsome love to the two of you. ♥️♥️
I agree with Keith nice post and photos, London skies are like that most of the time LOL 🙂
Nice poem also 🙂
Have a snailtastic safe week
I remember the grey, gloomy London skies!
Thanks, Steve, glad you liked the poem!
Have a sunny week ahead!
I loved Thor, your pet snail. It reminded me of Jerry my pet mouse. Beautiful images Natz.
Thanks dear Tina. You must write about Jerry.
A pet snail? You are fabulous! First time I’ve seen this!
And the images with clouds are extraordinary. Tagore say this so… perfect!
Thank you, dear Natasha for these perfect natural paintings.
Happy WW and all the best!
She now has two Suzana. Athena came home last evening
