Istanbul: #FridayFictioneers
“Woooah! What are those multi-coloured beauties we have on the mantle piece, Mommy?” asked Sam.
“New additions to my artifact collection, Hun. Urns and vases, specially imported from Istanbul,” Eva replied proudly.
“They must have cost you a fortune?” Sam asked inquisitively.
“Well, they did. All my years of savings went into them, sweetheart.”
“Mom! I thought you were a penniless writer.”
“I still am, but I know how to stash up, bit by bit.” winked Eva.
Sam or her husband need not know, those were tokens of affection from the Turkish Baron, she had met on her trip to Istanbul.

Yes… she should keep her story as is and keep the sweet to herself!
I guess so. Does she have an option? 🙂
Nice little twist ending!

“Write about what you know…” I wonder what she was researching for?
Ha! Ha! Penny Thank you for reading.
Dear Natasha,
That was a twist I didn’t see coming. She does need something to write about, after all. Nicely done.
Shalom
Rochelle
Thank you for always motivating us Rochelle.
Cheerio!
Hi Natasha. What a story she could tell. A best seller. And it would of course be complete fiction!
Ha! Ha! Kelvin. Bang on.
Thank you for reading.
Secret love life? Hmmm. She was wise to not tell.
Lovely story, Natasha.
Thank you Moon. But time to change my course of writing when it comes to love. Enough of the infidelity! Lol.
Tut-tut Eva, you wicked thing!

Yeah, she is. But you know what Keith I think I should now start writing “happy” love stories. Have run my course with them I can see! Lol
Nicely done, Natasha. Love the twist at the end.

That would be one wicked twist too, Vinay. 🙂

Probably a new-found muse. Thanks for reading Keerthi. 🙂
Hmmmmmmmmm. Very revealing. Now who was Sam?
Aha! That could be another twisted angle to it.

Hmmm…some secret!
Yeah, a wicked one. Pity the husband. Thanks Anamika for reading.
Ah a clandestine affair? Turkish baron sounds romantic
Yes, clandestine it is. I wonder if he is just having a good time, and she is falling for his charm, or money.
Eva is a bit of a rascal. I can sympathise with the penniless writer part of it!
We all writers can!! Ha, Ha! Story of our lives-penniless. Thanks for reading Iain.
