“Joy is the infallible sign of the presence of God.” ― Pierre Teilhard de Chardin
My two furry children cosying up. Laila, my elder furry child is still getting used to our new addition Mishka. Therefore this moment was very precious.
A unique Frangiani with pointy petals. I chanced upon this beauty outside my new Sivanada Yoga class. The fragrance is fruity and intoxicating, as is the flower; one of my favourites. Perfect for this day- World Environment Day 2019!
Meeting the stunning actress/writer/model/woman of substance, Lisa Ray for an NDTV show. Lisa personifies pure goodness, optimism, beauty with brains and an indomitable spirit to celebrate life, irrespective of the curve balls life has thrown her way. She is a survivor of Multiple Myeloma – bone cancer.
Skyler, Mishka’s (our cocker spaniel puppy’s) sister who recently flew to Bombay to become one with her new family – my best friend’s. Some soul connect this.
Aarshia’s eleventh birthday cake, had Mishka on it! After all Mishka, is her precious and best birthday gift till date.

I would always read about frangipani in the African and Caribbean novels, but I didn’t see any until I visited Senegal [many moons ago]. The flowers had not bloomed yet, but I still took lots of photos. The quote that begins your post is a keeper. I’ve already written it in one of my notebooks. Hugs!
Such happiness in every frame, Natasha!
I too love the frangipani flower, and I love dogs, and I love cakes….so, of course, each pic sparked joy for me, too! 🙂
Happy 11th birthday to Aarshia. The cake looks unique. The pics of Mishka and Skyler are heart melting. Your pic with Lisa Ray is stunning. She really is a hero in fighting her cancer and winning over it.
A happy time for you. (Any time with chocolate frosting would spark joy in me.) A lovely flower, the meeting with an inspirational person, and the birthday of a special loved one. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you, Alana. For some reason unable to comment on blogspot. So here’s my comment for your #WW post:
