Mommy’s Favourites

These are “a few” of my favourite things…

Laila Bear, my second born unicorn.
Laila pronounced as Lie-lah not Elton John’s Layla or Lai-laa in Hindi

The Gardenia that I planted on our terrace blooms every year. It is one of my favourites. Having said that, I’m not forgetting the Fragipanis that have made a delicious come back this year again.  The intoxicating fragrance continues to enchant and remind me of my childhood memories

That’s Laila’s, I hear you expression.

A well made egg. Yes, this isn’t the perfect one. I like my egg poached and not too fried.
But this was indeed a perfect Mommy’s favourite moment, as my eleven-year-old put this together for us to share.

Adventures in the forests. This was taken at Kanha Tiger Reserve, Central India on a vacation with Mi familia, courtesy the organisation I work for, Pugdundee Safaris.
A holiday to remember and cherish forever.

MOMMY’s Favourites

The list is indeed, far longer than what you see here. But I do believe these are some of the hands on qualifiers.

Mommy to four children; two furry, two human.

  1. Fried eggs and flowers are my favourite too. I love the doggies but not the work associated with it. Living on the 23rd floor makes it difficult for both the four legged and two legged creatures. Your pictures of Kanha make me want to go there……

  2. Don’t these tiny everyday moments just add to making our lives more joyful? Mommy has a lot to balance it seems between two humans and two furry beings so, quite a handful, as I see it, but I know she loves them to the core and couldn’t do without them either! Cheers to Mommys Favourites!!! May these cherished memories keep growing over the years. Love & hugs <3

  3. An egg made by your 11 year old child is the most beautiful thing, isn’t it. Enjoy those memories of your children, and your dogs. They will be more cherished the older you get.
