C is for Cats say the Darnest Things | #AtoZChallenge 2026

I’m working on telepathically finding a missing cat called Candy, from Banglore, South of India. Candy has now been missing for 14 long days. Her human is a frazzled bag of nerves. All the attempts to find Candy have been in vain.

Candy tells me, “I’m having a jolly good adventure, traipsing around the woods nearby. I have no intention of coming back soon.”

“Candy, but your human is distraught and stressed about your well being,” I inform her.

“Oh! She is forever worrying. It’s high time she chills at my level. She needs to go out on an adventure herself.” says Candy nonchalantly.

“Is that why you left home?”

“Ah! Yes! What were you thinking, babe,” Candy retorts cheekily.

In our animal and nature communication interactions we often notice, animals will leave home, or behave a certain way. The purpose is to help the humans evolve, or drop old patterns; even if it’s the hard way.

The moment the human starts making the changes, the animal expresses that they may chose to return (in Candy’s case, she did). Or alter their behaviour, or start showing healthy signs of a happy pet. A missing animal may or may not return. It depends, on its life purpose and circumstances at home with its human.

Sarah and Sam have two wonderful cat companions: A ginger cat called Destiny, and a male, black cat called Resin.

One fine evening Destiny, the ginger, gets trapped in a window vent. She starts yowling. When Sarah and Sam attempt to help her out, she bites both of them ferociously. Even though, Destiny is a gentle cat, it is alarming how she has used her fangs to badly bruise Sarah’s entire hand.

They are shocked by this turn of events.

When I speak to Destiny she says, “I’m so sick of these two fighting all the time; pointing out to Sarah and Sam. They need to calm down and make peace. See, they had to learn their lesson the hard way!”

Sarah and Sam confirm that they had been getting into petty, heated arguments in the recent days.

Animals and our pets at home are great at showing us a mirror, and teaching us valuable life lessons. They come to walk this path with us, so we grow into better human beings.

A note: Names have been changed to guard the privacy of the humans and cats, here.

I am participating in the April Blogging from A to Z Challenge 2026, and my theme is Nature’s Voice – Notes from Nature.

As a Telepathic Animal & Nature Communicator, and an avid nature lover, I receive plenty of messages and downloads from the animal and plant world, landscapes, water bodies, as well as aquatic life. I shall take you through a fascinating journey, where we shall connect and communicate with all things non-human, but as a humans. Together, we shall also appreciate nature’s offerings.

Telepathic Animal & Nature communication is an intuitive, two way exchange of information through words, emotions, feelings and images between humans and other species/nature. This transcends the barrier of a verbal dialogue and language, helping humans understand animals, nature (trees, landscapes, water bodies) and foster deeper connections. A professional Animal and Nature communicator is also known as an Animal and Nature Whisperer.

  1. People need to remember arguments impact everyone in the splash zone of that emotion – pets, children, friends, and your significant other. Healing and apologies need to splash just as wide.

    1. Would love to share with you someday. As a comment won’t suffice on this.
I’ll share some tips in the upcoming posts.
I also take classes in Animal and Nature communication.

      Thanks dearest.

  2. I love this post about the cat being missing. I know my old girl (she’s 17) keeps trying to sneak out the door every time we open it. (She’s an indoor cat). I fear she wants to leave because it’s her time to go. It will be a very sad day. But that’s how cats do things. I enjoyed your post and thank you for visiting me for the A-Z challenge. Looking forward to seeing more of your posts.
    Cheers,

Glad they got the web fixed.

    1. Hiya Barbie,

17! Must be a gorgeous, grand old lady!
Would love to see her picture, what’s she called?
Our older doggo, a Shitzu, Laila is turning 13 this year.

I understand that as they age, it gets harder to wrap our heads around how much more time they have with us. They stay as long as they are meant walk the journey with us.
Thank you for sharing about her. Enjoying your posts a whole lot.

  3. Candy’s answer made us smile, Natasha. So glad the woman learnt her lesson, and so glad she wanted to learn it by asking you for help 🙂 It reminded me on my own story, when my Gismo ran away. This was 1995. I was aware of the lesson, but was so busy with searching for him, that I couldn’t do anything about it to change it. My head was overloaded, and the situation was so painful, that I couldn’t hear him. When I did my Animal Healer Program in 2011, he finally showed himself to me in spirit. He was hanging around my neck, like he always did when he was still with me, and told me ‘I’m fine, you can go on, you finally found your peace.’
#Destiny, this is very recognizable…MOL… We love how you communicate with animals, and other creatures, what a blessing to have these skillsExtra Pawkisses dear furriend

    1. Thank you. 🙂

All of them actually, Karen. And from any distance – telepathically. That’s what my real life anecdotes will unfurl, eventually.
I’m also throughly enjoying your posts, and I subscribed too, to yours.

  4. Natasha, I agree with all you say here. Cats pick up on our moods and behaviors. I think cats are way more intelligent than most humans give them credit for.

    1. Yes, and also no. So when we say telepathic you won’t need to be in the same location as the pet and use verbal language to communicate.
Say you are out and you need to tell your pet you are getting late. You can communicate the same to them mentally, from any distance you are at.

You have to listen/tune in to what the animal/tree/landscape has to say, and trust it’s them and not your over active imagination/mind.

When I conduct the telepathic animal and nature communication course, these details are covered in a more expansive process.
