I’ll be away on a healing break…
Dear amigos and amigas in blogosphere,
As most of you know I’ve been on bed rest post a surgery. Thank you for all your comforting messages, emails and good wishes. The healing process is taking longer than usual. Therefore, I’m taking a break till I heal 100%.
I have realised in the last 1 year, everything else can wait. What we really need to do is honour our bodies and ourselves, and not take health or healing for granted. Therefore, I take this break striving to tune in to my body, mind and soul.
Though I have been recovering with loads of tender loving care, yet I’ve realised even a minor amount of exertion (like creating a blog post online) is throwing me off the gear and making the healing process long extended.
Please keep me in your prayers. I wish to get back on my feet soon.
I will continue to host #WordlessWednesday/ #WednesdayWisdom twice a month (2nd and 4th week). But may take a while to respond to your posts.
Request my friends – Betty, Steve, Sue NC, Zina, Sandee, Cathy, Tina, Brian, Keith, and Jackie hosting #WW, and also Trent hosting Weekly Smiles, please do add my link to your table.
I will definitely be going #wordless now.
Tough one for me as I have so many stories to tell! But like someone said, “Speech is silver, silence is gold.”
Amen to that! And to silent healings.

Take complete care of yourself and enjoy these long moments of silence and meditation, as they reveal to us more about us than anybody else.

AWWWWWWWWW I did not know you had surgery! I’m so sorry, but at least I’m here to pray for you that you’re getting better and you are on Bed Rest! Good girl, now don’t get up like I did and start cleaning house. Oh, I know, I know… nobody can clean it the way we can, but my lovely would you rather rest for a week or two or would you rather be laid up for double that??? hmmmmmm???? Okay now go rest and put your feet up or take a nap……. or………………………………. you can come by my house and have bed rest for a month!!! WOO HOO, WE WOULD HAVE SOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH FUN!!!! hahahaha We could play games or watch old movies or new movies whatever you like and with your feet up and I can take care of you!!! Do you like movies? I have lots of DVD’s my brother gave me or I have books. What kind of books do you like? Oh and I LOVE VEGGIES…. But I also love pasta with my sauce, but that has a little bit of meat in that one. Being half Italian (my mama’s side of the family) I was raised by my gramma while my mama was working. During the winter I went by her on my days off from school or holiday break. My nana was like my mama too! I was very fortunate to have 2 mama’s, but my gramma I called, “Nana”! I miss her so much. She taught me how to cook & bake bread and spaghetti too (all kinds). My nana didn’t believe in mops or store bought bread. You got on your hands & knees to clean the floor and you made bread… God bless her! Well, you go to bed now and get some rest. Sending hugs & prayers for good health to you and yours. Hope you’re feeling better when you get this. HUGS
